Pheromones, Mascots, and Highschool Drama? Oh my! oh so DDramaTic! Returns!!! (DDT) *REUPLOAD + Substack Exclusive*
Red's Pro-Wrestling Digest no.111
I’ve had to remove this edition from it’s normal home and make an additional Substack exclusive for the day. What follows is the original release version so you can see what was written and decide if it deserved the drama.
DDT time. The last time I checked in, sadly, was the end of March with their Judgement gig. That's fucked up! I also brought back oh so DDramatic! because it's also been way too long since I did one of those. To be clear, I do know that the intro video I do for these is tacky. It's on purpose. I think I'll make a better one instead and replace the old one on this episode. Done. Anyway, I might actually make a NOAH and TJPW show soon, too.
Keigo is a madman and 37KAMIINA are an amazing unit. That's the takeaway you should have after watching the first match of the set. A great tag match and a reminder of how damn fun this company is. Dramatics with Jun Akiyama being a grumpy old fart made for good content to follow this up.
Next, something...different.
If you're at work or at home with kids that you don't want to scar, skip this next one.
A blowjob turned sour followed by a bare-ass stink face finish gave us a glimpse of what Pheromones currently has to offer. I will refrain from detailing it further to avoid issues, but give it a look if you’re curious.
The (at the time) KO-D Openweight Champ was big mad after.
Moving along, Chiitan☆ came out, being announced as debuting at Mega Max Bump. Brookes would come out to fuck shit up. He got his shit fucked up instead. Remember when I wrote stupid shit about that dude? No? Good.
A ref getting a nerve shot knockout, a low blow on a kid, and monkey ninjas? Unicorns for all! This was one hell of a spot to include and I did so because I want oh so DDramaTic! to be a good representation of how fucking weird this company is and why it's so damn entertaining as a result. Hirata beat the 15-year old Yuni in the end, but the kid showed a lot of spirit. Lucharesu lives. I guess DG turned him down? I'm sure there's a story here but I don't know it. Good for what it was.
Want to see Chiitan☆ training? Of course you do! That's next on the episode and make up for the taste of shit Janela is about to put in your mouth.
We close with explosions as the dude that will never really retire, Onita, teamed with Toi Kojima and Shumna to beat nobody's favorite asshole, Joey Janela, alongside Takagi and Masada. Be like Onita. Don't take shit too seriously. It's a lesson we all need to learn. Mist. Alarm. Boom. This was the perfect way to end the episode.
Unless I blinked and missed someone's cock falling out or something, skipping the second should fix the R aspect for the most part. This, in general, should be must-see for the rest of you because DDT is pure fun and this did well to showcase how dynamic a production they provide.
